Landmark for passersby
The artwork symbolizes the activities within the Smeulders Interieurgroep in Nuenen. The seeds emerging from the ground are a sign of strength and growth and are the beginning. Hasu is the Japanese pet name for a bee’s nest.
Hasu Bloom blooms with the rhythm of day and night. By day, the seeds have a stately presence in a graphic backdrop of the glass façade structure and blinds slats. At night, light blooms from within, forming an intriguing play of open and closed.
