10,000s of visitors to be expected! Not a five-star hotel for humans, but one specially intended for insects. They are struggling because of our human interference with Mother Nature. What we can do in return is offer them a nice place to nest and hibernate. Hotello Insecta offers not only optimal visual experience but also attention and added value for biodiversity in (school) gardens and parks!

Floriade & The Colorful Verge

Hotello Insecta is on display at Floriade Expo2022. In collaboration with De Bonte Berm, I placed 8 Hotello’s there.

Biodiversity is increasingly important in the urban environment, and it is! In addition, there is much focus on ecological management and the development of herb-rich vegetation. To increase biodiversity and guarantee a long flowering period, the concept of the Colorful Verge was developed.

Combining the flowering time of herbs(Heem) and bulbs(JUB Holland) can create as many as 8 months of blooms.
